Martin Atkins very nearly became the first Chucks Chalkers Corner Chalker to record marking a perfect leg. Here he is informing Garry Thompson that his second dart at treble 18 during a 144 check out attempt for a nine darter has fractionally missed.

Although not in the same league as the other candidates, my manager and friend Dean is included due to being nominated by at least two seasoned chalkers. He drove a 1600 mile round trip to chalk his match and the elation of this acheivement can clearly be seen here!!

The two Scotts, one hairy by nickname the other, well, just hairy! put in great performances with the pen at the German Open, Scott Mitchells 2nd appearance in the corner, Waites making his well overdue debut.

April : John Boy Walton

John Boy deserves this, he was a close 2nd behind Pecker last time round and was not going to be pipped again, a tactical change saw him chalking matches that did not involve mr Adams and it paid dividends!! Well done John.

Due to a technical fault there will be no Chucks Chalker winner for March, apologies to those of you that entered the Isle of Man Open in the hope of putting yourself in contention for the March title. NB: As with the Lions Tour selectors there are no Scottish entries this month!!

Kentish Publican Steve Sidders gets a mention as the first man ever to chalk a match whilst sleeping! After learning of his nomination he informed me that he was not actually eligible to chalk the match as he was still in the Open. Thats what they all say Steve!!!
